Virtually all of the medium and large hotels in
Las Vegas offer some rooms which are designated as disabled guest rooms; and as such a popular
travel and convention destination, many hotels offer
large numbers of these rooms and a multitude of accommodations and equipment which exceed
what is typically found in hotels elsewhere. However,
the degree to which Las Vegas hotels are "accessible" may vary widely. Consequently, when calling
to make reservations, it is advisable to be as explicit
as possible regarding the type of disability and
specific accommodations needed — e.g. roll-in
shower versus traditional bathtub with grab bars, refrigeration requirements for medications, etc. The following pages represent just a small
sampling of what is available to disabled travelers in Las Vegas.
