Mt. Charleston

The 316,000-acre Spring Mountains National Recreation Area, popularly known as Mt. Charleston, is one of amazing geological and biological beauty. Mt. Charleston is located approximately 40 miles northwest of Las Vegas, off U.S. 95. Kyle Canyon Campground and Hilltop Campground at Mt. Charleston have several accessible sites. Hilltop was refurbished in 1995 and provides comfort as well as a beautiful view. Fees apply for camping and picnicking reservations.
