The American Red Cross helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Emergency services, including disaster relief and military communications, are available to individuals with disabilities, with accommodations made as needed. A full range of health and safety classes, including CPR/first aid, workplace safety, HIV/AIDS prevention, sport safety and aquatics education, is available. The American Red Cross offers a special CPR/first aid course for the hearing impaired.
