Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Southern Nevada (CCCS) provides free confidential financial counseling, budgeting assistance and debt repayment plans, whereby CCCS serves as a third party mediator between the client and creditor. Many creditors cooperate with these plans by waiving or reducing finance charges, reducing the monthly payment or bringing past due accounts current. CCCS also offers free educational classes in budgeting, credit management, and numerous other topics enabling consumers to make wise personal financial decisions. Target population: 18 years and up.
• Counseling offices also located in North LasVegas, Henderson and at Nellis AFB
• Education provided at CCCS offices or on-site for groups, businesses, etc.
• No charge for counseling/education services; maximum $10 monthly fee for debt repayment
